Clark Greer, PhD
Clark is owner of Derecho Cat Media, LLC, which specializes in communications consulting, research, and public relations. He is a retired university communications professor with more than two decades teaching public relations, organizational communication, broadcast news, and strategic communication. He has authored and co-authored more than two dozen research journal articles, co-authored a book chapter, and co-authored a textbook about event communications.
Before completing his doctorate and entering academia, Clark spent about a decade in marketing communications, public relations, organizational communications, and advertising (as a production artist).
Clark is the author of "The Striped Tornado: Life and Times of a Rotten Cat," a memoir of his cat Sadie that lived to be almost 21. He also produces "The Derecho Cat and Tumbleweed," a video series (on Facebook and YouTube) that features humorous interactions between a gray striped tabby and a calico.
