Clark Greer, PhD

Clark is the owner of Derecho Cat Media, which specializes in communications consulting, research, and public relations. He is a retired university communications professor with more than 21 years instructing public relations, organizational communication, broadcast news, and strategic communication. In addition, he has authored and co-authored more than two dozen research journal articles.


Before completing his doctorate and entering academia, he spend about a decade in marketing communications, public relations, organizational communications, and advertising as a production artist. 


He is the author of "The Striped Tornado: Life and Times of a Rotten Cat," a memoir of his cat Sadie that lived to be almost 21.

Georgia Greer

Georgia earned a degree in instrumental music with a specialization in harp. She composes all music heard on Derecho Cat Media productions, including The Hissing Feline podcast. Georgia also does voice work for the introduction and conclusion of the podcast. In addition, she is the voice of The Derecho Cat in the humorous video series by the same name on YouTube.


In fall 2015, Georgia went back to school full-time and received her B.S. degree in instrumental music in December 2017. Working toward her music degree not only enhanced Georgia’s abilities as a harpist, but it also gave her skills in writing and arranging music.


Georgia studied with several renowned harpists, including individuals who have performed with the San Diego Symphony, Dayton Philharmonic, and orchestras in Virginia.


Georgia’s talents are an indispensable part of the services this firm provides its clients.
